Healthy Tigers

Mesquite ISD is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for every student. Every adult in our district has pledged to protect the emotional and physical health and safety of our young people so they experience a feeling of belonging, a sense of purpose and achieve their own individual excellence.

Mesquite ISD employs registered nurses at every campus. Your school nurse will work with students and their families, school personnel, the community and health care providers to advocate for student health and a healthy school environment.   

Every campus also has at least one dedicated school counselor trained to support and equip students for academic achievement, as well as healthy personal and social development.
